Butyrospermum parkii butter (Shea butter): Pressed from shea nut, increases lustre and elasticity. Naturally mild sunscreen but said to increase pigmentation.
Garcinia indica butter (Coconut butter): Extracted from the seeds of the coconut fruit. Powerfully emollient without being heavy, thus easily absorbed by the skin without a greasy feeling.
Helianthus annus oil (Sunflower oil): Emollient, protective, nutritious.
Cera alba (Beeswax): Moisturiser, texturiser, protects without clogging pores, soothing, mild anti-inflammatory.
Aloe barbadensis extract (Aloevera): Healing, widely used in Ayurveda.
Olea Europaea oil (Olive oil): One of the most common oils in Ayurveda. High in fatty acids, vitamin E, carotenoids, phospholipids and phenols.
Simmondsia chinensis oil (Jojoba oil): Softens and moisturises, rich in antioxidants, fatty acids and vitamins A, D and E, natural protection against UV rays.
Rosa damascena (Rose): Healing and fragrant. Natural antiperspirant.
Honey: Widely used in Ayurvedic medicine for its nourishing and restorative properties.
Trigonella foenum graecum (Fenugreek): Anti-inflammatory, anti-itch, rich in minerals and flavonoids.
Triticum Vulgare oil: Rich in vitamin E (tocopherol), minerals, proteins and lipids.
Glycyrrhiza glabra (Liquorice root): Moisturising.
Vitis Vinifera seed oil: dry, easily absorbed oil, rich in polyphenols and vitamins E and K.
Terminalia bellirica (Baheda): One of the ingredients of ”Triphala”. Often used for skin conditions.
